Katie has the total package: beautiful conformation, looks, intelligence & family-friendly temperament. She loves being with her family, whether it's in the house watching television, taking a walk or a road trip and easily communicates with her expressive eyes and body language. She loves giving hugs! We're planning to pair this wonderful girl with Charming Chester or Lobo with expectations of producing puppies with family-friendly temperament, great structure & movement. Show prospects as well as therapy prospects expected.

BJ is our Champion girl who started winning at her first show when she was only 4 months old. She has numerous Best of Breed & Best in Show medals & trophies. See her page for more about her many wins. She has also earned her Canine Good Citizen Award & is a registered therapy dog. She was named BJ's Blue Moon after her dad, Big Jake & because a girl like this only comes along once in a blue moon. She's following in her dad's paws, as he too is a Champion, service dog & has also earned the title of Grand Victor. Lobo is our very impressive golden boy, Over 30 inches at the shoulder, he is tall and the neighbors say he looks like a small horse playing in the yard. : ) The breed founder said she expects him to look a lot like Laz, the ideal Shiloh type. He has a fun loving attitute, loves playing fetch & being with his family. I'm expecting this combination to produce puppies with good size, very eye-catching with beautiful conformation & movement along with family-friendly temperment.

Our Shiloh Shepherd puppies make wonderful family companions. We breed for beauty,health & temperament. All of our pups are temperament tested and evaluated for conformation to the breed standard. The puppies are raised in our home and socialized with our family which include small children, teenagers, our other Shilohs, a Border Collie & cats. This extensive socialization helps our puppies become the well-balanced, loving pup who's ready for his/her forever home with you. Riverwind is registered with The International Shiloh Shepherd Registry (ISSR), which upholds the strict breeding standards (Breeders Code of Ethics), set forth by the Breed Founder; Shilohs with good health, strong hips, stable and predicable temperaments; dogs that make wonderful family companions.
If you would like to be put on the list for a puppy, visit our page Contracts etc. and you can print off and mail in the Pre-adoption Application for Puppies along with deposit or prepayment. From the time the breeding takes place, count approximately four months to the date that the pups will be ready for homes.
Deposits and Prepayments: To reserve a space on our puppy list, a $400 deposit is required. To secure “pick” puppy position for a litter, prepayments (full price) must be received. As demand is usually greater than supply and litters tend to sell out, we recommend you reserve or secure a puppy early, this is especially true of breed and show quality pups as the supply of these pups is not as plentiful in any given litter.
Shipping: Shipping fees are $250.00, plus actual cost of airfare ($250.00 covers airline approved shipping crate and shipping materials, ISO compliant micro chip, first round of vaccinations, de-worming, Veterinary Health Certificate, and transportation to airport). Puppies will be sent COD to Buyer, so that Buyer will incur actual airfare costs to their destination.
Puppy pickup fee is $100 (covers ISO micro chipping, first round of vaccinations and de-worming) for those picking up their puppy at Riverwind Shilohs.
Paypal accepted. Paypal payments are subject to a 3% transaction fee-this is the responsibility of the buyer.
